The Teen In Business Resource website was established by Prevention Force Family Center youth interns in the year of 2008. The youth intern team wanted a website where teenagers, students, and young entrepreneurs could learn about job opportunities, entrepreneurial training workshops, money saving tips, kids business ideas workshops, contests, business club program, service learning and volunteer opportunities for high school students. Also, young entrepreneurs and entertainers wanted a place were they could share their success stories, and learn about service learning hour opportunities in their city and communities. The mission of the Teen In Business Resource website is to provides a variety of resources information to youth, students and young entrepreneurs that will help them be self sufficient in life. With the help of the Prevention Force Family Center staff, the youth interns were award the Crib Collective Youth-led Grant to create the Teen In Business Resource website Prevention Force Family Center is a nonprofit community based organization established in 1996. PFFC’s mission is to provide the necessary programs and services that help low-income individuals, youth, and families become self-sufficient, responsible, and productive residents of the community.
